Allison Raskin Bio

Allison Beth Raskin (born April 15, 1977) is an American writer, director, comedian as well as a podcaster. She also promotes mental health. She previously worked as writer for BuzzFeed Video but left in 2015 with fellow writer and colleague Gabe Dunn to pursue work in their comedy YouTube channel Just Between Us. Raskin was born June 20th, 1989 at Manhattan, New York, to a Jewish family of Jewish descent. She attended the University of Southern California, which she graduated with a bachelor's degree in fine arts. Jamin A. Raskin (born on December 13, 1964) is a U.S. attorney, professor of law and politician. She is Maryland's representative in the eight congressional district as U.S. representatives since 2017. The law professor served as the prosecutor at Trump's second impeachment trial. Rep. Jamie Raskin decided to not run for Maryland's vacant Senate seat and will instead seek reelection in the House and hopes he can become chair of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee. Adjacent to Washington, D.C., the 8th district encompasses many of the city's wealthiest inner-ring suburbs, including Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and Potomac. Rockville, Silver Spring, and Bethesda comprise the most diverse and prosperous neighborhoods in the district. Maryland is among the original thirteen states of America.
